UNDRESSING BRIDAL SS25

Undressing Bridal is more than just a bridal collection, it’s a celebration of fashion that uplifts and redefines the rules. Inspired by my experiences as a bridal dressmaker, this collection began as a re-imagination of bridal codes, however quickly grew into something much larger. This collection is an exploration of freedom, individuality, and agency, looking to challenge conventions not only for brides but for anyone who feels bound by the expectations of traditional dress.

Bringing fresh, everyday wear into the mix, Undressing Bridal offers ready-to-wear pieces designed with the same spirit of liberation. Here, lingerie-inspired details and daring silhouettes replace old-school modesty with confidence and expression. Airbrushed prints take the place of lace, metal hardware replaces beads, and soft, draping fabrics move fluidly, celebrating the natural shape of the body rather than concealing it.

With this collection, I look to blur the lines of heavily gendered garments, incorporating unexpected elements such as structured tailoring and pockets, with functional garments such as the bra. This collection invites everyone to explore fashion beyond categories, embracing a wardrobe where a mini skirt or bra can be celebrated equal to that of a trench coat or gown. This isn’t just a collection, but an invitation to everyone to choose clothing that is unapologetically you, no matter the occasion or rules, stay true to who you are and who you want to be.
